Types of scaffolding wheels

Swivel castors with a rubber tread are used for room scaffolding and folding scaffolds. These scaffold castors are not height-adjustable and are inserted into the scaffold tube and secured with a pin or bolt. Our universal scaffold wheels are suitable for rolling and folding scaffolds of common brands.

In comparison, tower scaffold wheels are height-adjustable and are equipped with nylon or PU wheels. With tower scaffolds, height adjustment is necessary so that the scaffold can be installed safely and level.

All listed scaffolding wheels are equipped with a double-acting brake. This type of brake prevents the wheel from rolling and also locks the swivel head so that the wheel can no longer swivel.

Our range of scaffolding wheels includes wheel diameters from Ø125mm up to Ø200mm where the bearing capacity can go up to a maximum of 800kg. The scaffolding wheels are suitable for scaffolding of common brands such as Altrex, APW, ASC, Altec, Centrum, Custers, Euroscaffold, Instant Span, Skyworks, Solide and Wienesse.

Scaffold screw jacks

In addition to wheels, Verpas also supplies scaffolf screw jacks for fixed scaffolding. Adjustable srew jacks allow a scaffold to be set up level and stable. When using screw jacks, the pressure per cm2 is much lower than with scaffolding wheels, which in turn has a positive effect on stability and safety.
