Castor wheel expanders
For fixed and swivel castors with centre mounting hole, so-called castor and wheel expanders are available. As the name suggests, these fittings expand as soon as the central bolt is tightened. Castor expanders clamp securely into round or square tubes and are available with metal parts made of steel or stainless steel. This type of castor fitting is suitable for mounting larger wheels with a higher load-bearing capacity.
Tube insert castor sockets
Extra-long tube inserts are available for fitting smaller threaded stem or plain stem castors. Suitable for e.g. apparatus castors and furniture castors of up to Ø75mm. These tube inserts with socket for castor fitting are self-clamping by means of ribbing and are therefore suitable for lighter applications. For example, furniture and light appliances.
Attatching castors to wood or furniture board
For fitting furniture castors with a plain stem, special adapter sleeves suitable for wood or furniture board are available. In the case of furniture castors with threaded stem, screw-in or knock-in nuts can be used.
