What types of furniture glides are available?
The furniture glides in this category are attached with a nail or screw and are generally suitable for furniture with wooden legs. Every floor is different, for example, carpet places different requirements on a furniture glider than, say, a parquet floor. Below is a brief summary of glide type:
- Felt - suitable for laminate, parquet, tile floor ceramic or natural stone with small joints, certain vinyl, PVC and elastic floors
- Plastic – suitable for carpets, carpet, ceramic tiles, certain vinyl, PVC and elastic floors
- Metal - suitable for carpet and rugs
- PTFE Teflon - suitable for carpets and rugs, ceramic tiles, vinyl, PVC and elastic floors.
N.b. Applicability and suitability always depends on the vulnerability of the floor.
Plastic furniture feet and legs
