Self-adhesive feet and buffers are often used as self-adhesive furniture glides, for instance as chair felts. Self-adhesive stop buffers and anti-slip pads are generally used on cabinets and interiors.
Felt and Teflon improve gliding properties on certain floors and other surfaces and are to some extent (sound-)damping. On the other hand, PU, EVA and EPDM feet have anti-slip properties. PU and EVA also behave rubber-like and therefore also offer damping to a certain extent.
