Wing Nuts, Wing Bolts & Wing Knobs

Wing knobs have a distinctive knob design characterised by two wings. This knob shape is subdivided into wing nuts and wing bolts. Wing nuts or butterfly nuts have female thread, like a nut. Wing bolts or butterfly screws and bolts have male thread.

The most well-known appearance of wing nuts is defined in DIN315 and that of wing bolts in DIN316. In addition, our range also includes other winged knob shapes, including T-grips.

Many of our wing nuts and wing bolts feature a plastic knob and metal threads, in addition, all metal versions such as stainless steel are also available. Wing nuts and wing bolts are available with threads from M4 to M12, with M6, M8 and M10 being the most popular.
