Knurled knobs
Knurled knobs are cylindrical knobs with a circumferential knurled edge. The knurling ensures a good grip when manually fastening or loosening a screw connection. Knurled knobs are generally used in situations where no large forces are required.
Knurled knobs with female threads are also called knurled nuts. Those with male threads are commonly referred to as thumb screws, knurled bolts or knurled screws. Knurled knobs are available with threads from M4 to M10. Due to the often light applications, knurled nuts M4 and M6 are popular and as for thumb screws and knurled bolts M6 and M8.
