PEEK is a high-performance plastic with exceptionally good mechanical properties and chemical and electrical resistance
PEEK delivers high performance in environments where other materials are unsuitable, like under certain temperature and chemical influences
Temperature resistance up to +180ºC (continuous)
Flammability rating - UL94 V-0
Flat plastic washers made of PEEK, also referred to as plain washers, are used as a lightweight alternative to steel due to their excellent dimensional stability, high material rigidity and low coefficient of expansion
Alternatively, PEEK washers are also used as thrust washers (axial bearing)
Flat PEEK washers are often used in demanding industries such as medical, semiconductor, electronics, automotive, etc.
