Cylindrical handles

Cylindrical handles are either fully cylindrical shaped or (partially) tapered screw on handles. When the handle is fully tapered, it is also referred to as cone handles or tapered handles. Cylindrical handles or straight handles are commonly used as an operating component on machines, plants and vehicles.

These cilindrical of tapered handles are basically available in either fixed, revolving and/or folding versions. The fixed version is often used as a lever for extra leverage. The revolving and/or folding version is often mounted on handwheels or crancks.

Cylinder handles are mainly available in plastics such as polyamide or duroplast (Bakelite). Cylinder handles are available with internal (female) or external (male) threads from M5 to M14. There are also some self-fixing versions with a tapered or clamp fit bore.
