Screwable protection caps for thread, nut and washer protection
Product information
- Screwable protection caps (selftapping) are available for M36 to M48 inclusive, or for UNC 1 3/8” to UNC 1 7/8”, and in heights of 115 mm to 155 mm inclusive
- Protects imperial and metric threads including the appropriate nuts and washers
- Secure fixation: during fitting the thread cuts into the inside ridges of the cap. Therewith ensuring a secure hold, regardless the pitch and profile of the thread
- Easy fitting due to the hexagon head on the cap
- Depending on the available inner height under the ridges of the cap, also suitable for protecting double nut arrangements, counternuts, round nuts or heigh nuts
- Fit for screw connections with washers complying with volgens DIN EN ISO 7089 - 7091 (DIN 125/126), DIN 7989, DIN 6917/6918
- Resistant to UV radiation - (organic) acids, oil, fats, seawater, etc.
- Sealing lip on the base prevents water ingress (also via capillary action) and the resulting corrosion
- Screwable caps for neatly finishing and protecting washers, nuts, bolts and and the ends of threaded rod in fabrications, road and water construction and the offshore sector
