Screwable protection caps for thread protection
Product information
- Screwable protection caps (selftapping) for thread protection are available for M16 to M90 inclusive and in heights of 36 mm to 120 mm inclusive
- Protects metric threads like in bolts and threaded rods
- Secure fixation: during fitting the thread cuts into the inside ridges of the cap. Therewith ensuring a secure hold, regardless the pitch and profile of the thread
- Easy fitting; outside ribs enable manual screwing on with use of a hook- or ring spanner
- Resistant to UV radiation - (organic) acids, oil, fats, seawater, etc.
- Sealing lip on the base prevents water ingress (also via capillary action) and the resulting corrosion
- Screwable caps for all thread types and bolts are designed for neatly finishing and protecting bolts and threaded rods in fabrications, road and water construction and the offshore sector
