Product information

Flat Neoprene (Chloroprene rubber) washers are available for metric bolt sizes from M3 to M20 inclusive
Washer dimensions almost meet DIN 125 / ISO 7089
Temperature resistance from -20ºC to +80ºC
Tear resistance of 6MPA
Tensile elongation at break between 200% - 300% depending on hardness
Standard supplied hardness between 45 and 65 Shore A
Good heat, weather, ozone and UV resistance, but poor cold flexibility
Suitable for applications with (sea) water or propane (gas)
Not resistant to acids, bases, petrol, diesel and paraffin and limited resistance to dilute acids and alkalis
Neoprene rings are suitable as seals, gaskets or as damping (vibrations and noise) in for instance screw connections and are commonly applied in shipping, construction and industry
