- Flat PTFE (Teflon) penny washers are available for M4 to M16 screws
- To DIN 9021, ISO 7093
- Temperature resistance from -200ºC to +260ºC
- Good flame resistance; UL 94 V2 fire classification
- Low friction coëfficiënt and good anti-stickness
- Zero water absorption and good UV resistance - non aging
- Excellent dielectric properties (electrical insulator)
- Very good chemical resistance; resistant to most chemicals such as bases, acids, oils, steam etc.
- PTFE penny washers are used in critical applications in which a.o. high or low temperatures, chemical resistance and low friction are important.
