Protective plugs – tapered

Product information

Tapered protective plugs with a shoulder for round holes, tube ends, internal and external threads are available for hole sizes from Ø 4.4 mm to Ø 102.5 mm inclusive or for tapped hole sizes from M6 to M50 inclusive
Also suitable for many other types of thread like Metric fine of coarse, BSP, BSF, BSW (Witworth), UNC, UNF
Available in signal colours yellow to increase recognition and retrievability
Tapered shaft to ensure a good fit and good retention - Suitable for cheaply, easily and quickly sealing, capping or protecting blind or clearance holes, tapped holes, internal threads, ANSI tubes, hydraulic and pneumatic fittings, etc. Often used for protection during transport or grit blasting, painting or galvanising processes.

Material: LDPE (low-density polyethylene)
Colour: natural, yellow (RAL 1016) or red
