Expander connector without shoulder - rectangular
Product information
- Expander connectors, also called expanding tube connectors, are available for rectangular tubes or profiles with external dimensions from 30 x 15 mm to 60 x 30 mm inclusive, and for wall thicknesses of 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm inclusive
- Thread sizes M6, M8 and M10
- Available without nuts or with 1 or 2 nuts
- Can also be combined with hexagonal screws to DIN933, hexagonal lock nuts (DIN985) and stainless steel hexagonal nuts (DIN985)
- The action of tightening the nuts (via a screw or threaded rod) expands the connector until it is firmly secured in the tube or box-section profile
- Allows easy connection of rectangular tubes without having to weld
- Multiple possible uses such as for tube extension and demountable frames, e.g. for racks and shelving, exhibition stands, cages, aviaries, etc.
