Cabling and loose cables laying around on the floor form a potential tripping hazard and besides that they lay unprotected against being trodden on which can cause damage like line break or even short-circuit. When using a cable snake or cable cover the tripping hazard will be substantially reduced and at the same time cables are protected and tucked away tidy.
Cable snakes and cable covers are available in various designs. There are segmented versions made of plastic, aluminium models with or without hinged lid and models made out of rubberlike material.
The plastic en aluminium versions are mainly suitable for use in domestic-, office-, school- or shop environments or similar. The rubberlike version is more versatile en therefor also suitable for indoor fairs and events. Furthermore especially suitable for moderately lit situations because of the integrated fluorescent signal stripes.
