Ball and socket joints

• Zinc-plated steel angled ball and socket joints (radial) for gas springs are available in various sizes and are supplied with M8, M10 or M14 thread, depending on the version.
• The ball socket encloses the ball stud and enables a movable connection with a high degree of freedom in multiple directions.
• The retaining ring and safety clip hold the ball stud securely in the ball socket and reduce the risk of accidental release.
• The ball stud with external thread and spanner flat makes installation easier and provides a stable, service-friendly connection.
• Angled ball and socket joints are used as connections for gas springs or gas struts, for example on the piston rod or on the mounting side of the gas spring.

Installation note: Connections must be fully screwed in and rest flush against the mounting face. In case of vibration, secure them against rotation. Supplied safety clips must be installed.
