Expander connector with radius collar - round
Product information
- Expander connectors with radius collar, available for round tubes with external dimensions from Ø15mm up to and including Ø32mm and wall thicknesses from 1.0mm up to and including 2.5mm
- The collar has a radius equal to half the tube diameter, so the tube joins a cross tube of the same diameter (round or flat oval) at right angles with a tight fit
- Thread size M6; the connector contains a cone with a pre-fitted hexagon nut, the bolt is not included
- Tightening the bolt pulls the nut into the cone, expanding the connector until it is firmly secured against the inner wall of the tube
- Allows easy assembly of tube frames without welding or gluing
