Bakelite star knob - DIN 6336 – threaded insert

Product information

• Bakelite star knobs with a threaded insert are available in thread sizes from M4 to M16 inclusive
• Star knobs in diameters from Ø 20 mm to Ø 80 mm inclusive
• Similar to DIN 6336, form K
• Knobs up to and including Ø 25 mm are solid, larger knobs have a cavity around the edge as shown in the drawing
• Temperature-resistant up to 110-120°C, briefly 180-200°C
• Good electrical insulation
• Bakelite is highly resistant to chemicals
• Wide range of uses, e.g. as an adjustment screw or locking screw in machines, fabrications, vehicles or furniture.

Material: Knob – PF (phenol formaldehyde), Threaded insert – steel or brass
Colour: Knob – black, Threaded insert – steel-coloured or brass-coloured
