Flange caps with internal lip - silicone
Product information
- Silicone flange caps with internal lip are available for thread from M3 to M20 and rods from Ø3 to Ø30mm inclusive
- Flange simplifies mounting and removal
- The internal lip (rib) provides a positive seal and less resistance during mounting or removing
- Also preventing paint and other contaminants from seeping onto the masked item
- Heat-resistant silicone rubber, capable of withstanding 315 °C
- Can be reused several times
- Ideal for masking or plugging tubes, threaded rods, dowel pins, shafts, etc. during transport or surface treatment processes such as powder coating, cathodic dip coating, anodising, galvanising or grit blasting.

Note: When masking dowel pins, tubes or shafts it’s best to choose a cap with a 10% smaller interal lip diameter
Available on request:
- Heat-resistant EPDM rubber (180 °C), which, unlike silicone rubber, is suitable for wet spray-painting
