Star knobs

Star knobs, also referred to as scalloped knobs and handwheels, are manually operated star-shaped knobs with female or male threads. Ideal for manually tightening or loosening components or parts. Knobs are often designed according to industry standard DIN 6336 and available in materials such as bakelite, polypropylene, polyamide, aluminium or stainless steel.

Star knobs are either female threaded, by means of a threaded bush or nut, or male threaded by a threaded stud or bolt. Threads are available from M4 to M16, with M6, M8 or M10 being particularly popular.
